Whenever you travel by the White Mountains, and have always found impressive landscapes. Surely the lagoon 69 (4620 m) was the one I loved and is one of the less physically demanding walks in the Huascaran National Park. With cloudy or clear, its waters always reflect a deep blue as the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by snow-capped Chacraraju (6112 m).
To get there you have to walk 2-3 hours (depending on rate) by Demand creek. On the way you can see several vizcachas between rocks, the snowy Yanapaccha (5460 m) and what was the Brogui Glacier, which has unfortunately disappeared. The only vestige of its existence is a sign pointing Foptur it as a tourist attraction. Probably in a few years, some will disappear and only snowy tourist signs.
