CHURUP LAKE:

One of the most beautiful lakes in the National Park, with roads and pretty villages. In the morning after breakfast at the hotel, we take a private bus to Pitec (3800 m). Arriving around 10: 00 am. begin the two-hour walk to the lagoon Churup (4450m). Below is Churup Nevada turquoise lagoon Churup.

At the lake we will take time to have lunch while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and breathing clean air. We recommend this day trip to get used to the altitude. Back to the trailhead our private bus will be waiting to take us back to Huaraz.

Comfortable walking clothes, mosquito repellent, walking shoes, a camera, and 1-2 refillable water bottles are recommended. Rain gear is also recommended during the rainy season (December to March) and equipment for cold weather (warm jacket, thermal, hat and gloves) is recommended for the dry season (especially June to August).
